Ben Saks

Ben Saks Saks & Associates

Ben Saks is the chief engineer of Saks & Associates, which offers training and consulting in C and C++ and their use in developing embedded systems.

He represents Saks & Associates on the ISO C++ Standards committee, including SG14, the C++ study group for game development and low-latency systems, and SG20, the C++ study group for education. He is co-author of a proposal to revise the Standard's definition of freestanding implementations of C++.

He has spoken at several conferences, including CppCon: The C++ Conference, the C++ and System Software Summit, and the Embedded Systems Conference.
Ben previously worked as a software engineer for Vorne Industries, where he used C++ and JavaScript to develop embedded systems that help improve manufacturing productivity in factories all over the world.
He is a contributing author on multiple patents and a technical editor for Saks & Associates' C++ training curriculum.
Ben earned a B.A. with Distinction in Computer Science from Carleton College.
