Milian Wolff has a long history of creating tools for C++ developers. He’s the main author of Massif-Visualizer, Heaptrack, Hotspot, and ctf2ctf tools now used widely to improve C++ applications' performance. He’s a Senior Software Engineer at KDAB, where he enjoys solving hard performance problems and teaching developers about debugging and profiling tools.

Milian has a Master's Degree in Physics, which explains his scientific approach to performance measurement.

Kevlin is an independent consultant, speaker, writer and trainer. His development interests, contributions and work with companies covers programming, people and practice. He has contributed to open- and closed-source codebases, been a columnist for a number of magazines and sites and has been on far too many committees (it has been said that "a committee is a cul-de-sac down which ideas are lured and then quietly strangled"). He is co-author of A Pattern Language for Distributed Computing and On Patterns and Pattern Languages, two volumes in the Pattern-Oriented Software Architecture series. He is also editor of 97 Things Every Programmer Should Know and 97 Things Every Java Programmer Should Know. He lives in Bristol and online.

Robert C. Seacord is the Standardization Lead at Woven by Toyota where he works on the Software Craft. Robert is convener of the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC22/WG14 international standardization working group for the C programming language.  He is the author of seven books, including Effective C, Second Edition (No Starch Press, 2024), The CERT C Coding Standard, Second Edition (Addison-Wesley, 2014) Secure Coding in C and C++, Second Edition (Addison-Wesley, 2013), and Java Coding Guidelines: 75 Recommendations for Reliable and Secure Programs (Addison-Wesley, 2014). He has also published more than 50 papers on software security, component-based software engineering, Web-based system design, legacy-system modernization, component repositories and search engines, and user interface design and development. Robert has been teaching secure coding in C and C++ to private industry, academia, and government since 2005. He started programming professionally for IBM in 1982. 

Jason has 2 decades of C++ experience and is a regular conference speaker, developer, and trainer. He has been publishing weekly C++ videos on his YouTube channel, C++ Weekly, since 2016.

Klaus Iglberger is a freelance C++ trainer and consultant. He is passionate talking about clean, safe and maintainable C++ and shares his expertise in popular C++ courses — from beginner to advanced — all around the world. He is the author of “C++ Software Design” (https://www.oreilly.com/library/view/c-software-design/9781098184704/), one of the organizers of the Munich C++ user group (https://www.meetup.com/MUCplusplus/), and the (co-)organizer of the Back-to-Basics and Software Design tracks at CppCon.

Ignat is a systems engineer at Cloudflare working mostly on Linux, platforms and hardware security. Ignat’s interests are cryptography, hacking, and low-level programming. Before Cloudflare, Ignat worked as a senior security engineer for Samsung Electronics’ Mobile Communications Division. His solutions may be found in many older Samsung smart phones and tablets. Ignat started his career as a security researcher in the Ukrainian government’s communications services.

Jørgen is a programmer and has mainly been writing free software in his career - lately targeting gcc. He left the energy industry for work on compiler toolchains and build systems in Japan, before returning to his native Norway where he is currently programmer & director at patch. Now he solves hard and interesting problems where he can find them, does bespoke programming as well as teaching, training, and consulting. He holds an MSc in Computer Science from NTNU.

Ivica is a Senior Software Engineer with 15 years of experience active in the domain of Linux and bare-metal embedded systems. His professional focus is application performance improvement - techniques used to make your C/C++ program run faster by using better algorithms, better exploiting the underlying hardware, and better usage of the standard library, programming language, and the operating system. Tina works at Rosen, a service provider in the oil and gas industry. She writes and maintains numerical and data processing algorithms for pipeline inspection data. She highly values simple, modern and clean code, using the latest language features. She promotes refactoring, high test coverage and collaboration between developers.
Tina holds a university degree in Bio-Mathematics from the University of Applied Science in Zittau/Görlitz.

Vitaly is a principal software engineer at reMarkable. He has been designing and developing software using C++ and some other languages for over 10 years. Primary areas of interest are design and development of frameworks and libraries, modern programming languages, and functional programming.
Vitaly holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Moscow State Mining University.

Eivind Begem is an embedded software developer working at Inventas, where he is the annoying guy at the office who never stops talking about Rust.

Hana is staff software engineer in Woven by Toyota. She is known for the CTRE library (Compile Time Regular Expressions). She also chair SG7 "study group for reflection" and co-chair EWG (Evolution Working Group)  in the WG21 (the ISO C++ standardisation committee) where she represents Czechia national body. 

Björn is a senior software developer at Net Insight, where he is keen on improving the skills of the teams he works in, by learning, and by sharing knowledge. Björn has worked full time with software development since 1994, mostly for networking products, and primarily in C++. He is the creator of the popular open source C++ libraries, Trompeloeil for mocking, and strong_type for type safety.

Tjerand is a Security and Cryptography Expert at the cybersecurity company Pone Biometrics and an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Security and Communication Technology at NTNU. His main interests are quantum-safe cryptography, privacy-preserving computation, anonymous communication, and secure implementation. In 2020, the Norwegian Data Protection Agency awarded Tjerand and his team the "Built-in privacy" award for designing a private contact-tracing protocol used by more than 1 million Norwegians.

Eskil Domben is the co-founder of GET Academy, an innovative educational institution that combines hands-on IT education with a strong focus on social sustainability. Since its inception in 2016, he has been a driving force in creating inclusive learning environments, particularly aimed at providing young adults with better opportunities to succeed in the workforce.

With a passion for Growth Mindset and collaborative learning, Eskil has developed teaching methodologies that foster key competencies, resilience (GRIT), and a sense of mastery among students. He has also played a crucial role in establishing GET Academy Solutions, a social entrepreneurship initiative that enables newly trained developers to gain real-world experience through live projects.

Eskil maintains strong ties to the industry and actively works to bridge the gap between education and employment. He has collaborated with major organizations such as Google and the Crown Prince Couple’s Foundation to promote social sustainability in technology education.

As a speaker, Eskil shares insights on inclusive education, practical IT learning, and how to build resilient, motivated teams through reflection, mentorship, and a growth-oriented mindset. As a Doctorate of Electrical and Computer science engineering graduate with strong interest in Energy Management and Energy Control Systems, I have high interest and ambitions focusing on building and developing an Intelligent Energy Management System. I am currently a Product Advisor at Energy Controls department in Kongsberg Maritime, where my focus is on research and continual development of energy products delivered to maritime. In my work I take responsibility for energy efficiency optimization, system reliability enhancements, decision support system development, equipment health monitoring, real time digital simulation and performing feasibility studies addressing alternative fuels. 

Jon is a Principal Engineer at Helsing where he develops safety-critical defense systems in Rust; he's the author of the intermedia Rust book "Rust for Rustaceans"; and he's an avid Rust educator with over 200 hours of tutorials and live coding videos on YouTube. Before Helsing, Jon maintained the Rust build infrastructure at AWS, and in his spare time he maintains a number of open-source tools and libraries written in Rust. He has a PhD from the Parallel and Distributed Operating Systems group at MIT, where he built a new database engine from scratch , which today continues in the form of the start-up "ReadySet".

Anders Norås first trained in arts and design, but for the past 25 years, he’s been creating magic with code instead of paint. Combining creativity with technical expertise, Anders offers a unique perspective on the tech world—one that’s as much about people as it is about pixels.

Henrik Austad is a research scientist at SINTEF Digital, an independent research foundation focusing on industry-relevant applied research. Henrik is currently finalizing his Ph.D. in which TSN prototyping has been a major area of interest.

Jørn Bersvendsen is the CTO of Applica Robot Integration and Technical Lead at Applica Consulting, where he develops software for industrial automation, robotics, and embedded systems. With a PhD in cybernetics and 15 years of C++ experience, he has worked on projects ranging from real-time control of autonomous vehicles to machine learning for medical imaging.

Arne Mertz has been working with modern and not-so-modern C++ codebases for over 15 years in various kinds of embedded and enterprise contexts. He is a mentor and teacher for clean code and modern C++ for colleagues and customers at Zühlke Engineering. Since 2015 he has written more or less frequently about those topics on his blog "Simplify C++!"

Nicole has worked on the problems of build systems and dependency management since she did her first internship on the vcpkg team at Microsoft in 2019. She continued her work on vcpkg, bringing registries and manifests to the tool (with help from the rest of the team). After a short stint on the Microsoft standard library team, she moved to Norway and has started work again on build systems and dependency management for reMarkable.

Daniela has a degree in electrical engineering and has been working for more than 30 years in small innovative companies in the field of software and hardware development. She has spent her youth with exploring the very first microprocessors since the late 70's, and has been creating software professionally for 40 years now. After a long time using many different programming languages, C++ has now been the exclusive workhorse throughout the last two decades. With great pleasure Daniela is now also a member of the ISO C++ committee. For the better part of her career, the domain was applied digital signal processing (medicine, metrology, reconnaissance), but during the last decade the focus shifted onto special engineering in the field of industrial non-destructive testing of semi-finished and finished steel products using ultrasound. Besides that, she loves to relax with hard metal and soft cheese, hot curries and cool jazz.

Jana is an engineer in Gen and a member of Czech NB in WG21 (the C++ committee) with a main interest in SG1 (study group of concurrency). Previously she worked in game dev (Top Spin 4, Mafia II, Carrier Command, and DayZ)

Jana is an Embedded Linux Engineer at Northern.tech, where she helps customers succeed (and occasionally survive) with Mender — the open-source OTA update manager. With hands-on experience shipping firmware updates into the wild, Jana has seen everything from flawless rollouts to devices that went mysteriously silent mid-update. She specializes in turning complex OTA setups into something humans can actually maintain, and she secretly enjoys debugging broken bootloaders more than she probably should. When not neck-deep in Yocto layers or U-Boot environment puzzles, she’s usually trying to explain to her friends what “firmware” actually means.



Xavier is a Software Engineer at BMW, where he works on the software stack for the next generation of autonomous driving. He is also part of the MISRA C++ working group and member of the ISO C++ committee representing the BMW Group. Xavier believes that success in large scale projects can only be achieved through high-quality standards, using modern technologies, and applying software engineering principles at all levels. He has been working in various fields such as computer graphics, information theory, and data aggregation and with codebases of different sizes, with contributions from 5 to 2000 software developers.

Patrick Schittekat is Principal Engineer at Ascenium Inc where he focuses on the development of a LLVM backend for Aptos. The Ascenium Aptos is a novel, general-purpose processor architecture. It aims to eliminate the performance bottlenecks and high power consumption of the current CPU's extremely complex hardware implementation. Patrick has 20 years of experience both in the software industry as in research. He pursued and obtained his PhD in Mathematics, Optimization for Industrial Applications, while starting the Belgian subsidiary of ORTEC, a planning software supplier using Operation Research. After this, he was Professor in Operations Management at the Free University of Brussels before he moved to SINTEF, Norway. Before joining Ascenium Inc, Patrick was responsible at SINTEF for the development of Air Traffic Control software. The team has developed industry-leading decision support for Aviation and Air Traffic Control (ATC). Their work for ATC received an outstanding project award in SESAR, the largest EU modernization program for ATC systems.

Mikhail is a seasoned C++ developer with over 15 years of experience across various domains. He is currently designing and implementing a high-frequency trading system at Pinely using cutting-edge technologies. Previously, he developed a 3D CAD system for orthodontic aligners at Align Technology and worked on image processing and computer vision at Moscow State University.

A frequent speaker at conferences including CppCon, using std::cpp, emBO++, C++ Russia and more, Mikhail co-authored the popular course "Fundamentals of C++ Development" with Yandex. He has also taught at the Faculty of Computer Science at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow.


Bryce Adelstein Lelbach has spent over a decade developing programming languages, compilers, and software libraries. He is passionate about parallel programming and strives to make it more accessible for everyone.

Bryce is a Principal Architect at NVIDIA, where he leads programming language efforts and drives the technical roadmap for NVIDIA's compute compilers and libraries.

He is one of the leaders of the systems programming language community, having served as chair of the Standard C++ Library Evolution group and the US standards committee for programming languages (INCITS/PL22). He has been an organizer and program chair for many conferences over the years.

On the C++ Committee, he has personally worked on concurrency primitives, parallel algorithms, executors, and multidimensional arrays. He is one of the founding developers of the HPX parallel runtime system.

Outside of work, Bryce is passionate about airplanes and watches. He lives in Midtown Manhattan with his girlfriend and dog.

Jan Dyre is fascinated by how intelligence emerges—from bacteria banding together for survival to robots learning to cooperate without leaders. With a background in philosophy and a PhD in swarm robotics, his work explores the deep connections between biology, software, and collective behaviour. He’s driven by a passion for resilient, decentralised systems and the strange beauty of coordination without central command. Jan Dyre has supervised more than 200 students, written extensively on swarm theory, and gives regular talks on the intersection of ethics, technology, and autonomy. He currently serves as CTO of Six Robotics, building software-driven swarms for the real world.

Johan is a Principal Consultant and Developer Productivity Engineer at Tweag and Modus Create. Johan has twenty years of industry experience, mostly working with Python, C/C++, Linux, build systems, and open source software. He has a passion for designing and implementing elegant and useful solutions.

Johan enjoys working with good tools, and believes that spending time to sharpen our tools is a valuable investment.

When not in front of a computer, he enjoys long bike rides, and laying down smooth jazz chords on the piano.

I have been designing and developing software developer for the last 12 years which I spend working on many different projects and various platforms with and without operating system. I enjoy analyzing code to understand how it works and identify areas for improvement. Also I like to optimize the development process, from streamlining workflows to improving team communication and resolving bottlenecks.

Main areas of interest are libraries, framework, architecture, build systems, package management and modern programming languages.

Petr works as a Senior Software Engineer at Alteryx. He is primarily a C++ guy, with side experience in computer graphics, GPU programming, and a bit of physical simulation. He's been involved with the CMake infrastructure of every professional project he's worked on—something he's grown to enjoy. He likes looking for elegant ways to express ideas in code and to employ metaprogramming and similar techniques.

My adult working life started off playing with lasers in a darkened laboratory.  After a while the darkness got to me and I realised that if I programmed computers to do the work I could spend my time in a day-lit office.  From automating telecommunication research experiments I wandered into developing telecoms software.

I've spent the majority of my working life building video conferencing infrastructure products, initially in C++ and more recently Python.  My non-product code has seen forays into various Lisps and now Haskell.

Whilst I enjoy programming, I'm also fascinated by the process of developing a software product.  This came to a head when I and others founded Pexip in 2012.  I've now stepped back from the world of software engineering management and am getting involved again in the more academic sides of software development.


Laszlo is a Principal Software Engineer at The Qt Company in Oslo, Norway. He is the maintainer of Qt's graphics stack for accelerated 3D rendering, including the new graphics abstraction layer and shader translation pipeline introduced in Qt 6.

Julius Gustavsson has well over 20 years of experience developing embedded systems software spanning multiple industries from consumer electronics and telecommunications to avionics and automotive. Shortly before joining Volvo Cars he had discovered Rust and became convinced of its potential. Today he leads the team that is pioneering Rust usage at the company. 

Cristián currently works as a Sr. R&D Manager at The Qt Company. One of his main responsibilities is the Qt for Python project (PySide/Shiboken), which is the official Qt Framework binding for Python, the Qt Core Berlin team, and the Qt Bridges project. His day-to-day work involves working with C++, Python, and CPython, and some times a bit of Rust, Zig and other languages. In his free time, he enjoys collaborating with open source communities and conferences mainly related to Python. Cristián is currently a Python Software Foundation Fellow and Board Director.

Alexsandro is a Software Engineer at Zivid AS specializing in C++ API development, build systems, and developer tooling. His interests include GPGPU, compiler technology, and low-level programming. In his free time he enjoys studying programming and natural languages, and competitive programming challenges.

Joakim Lier is a Software Engineer and Product Owner at Cisco Systems Norway, currently working on the web browser for the video conferencing products. Programming languages and tools has always been a passion, since the early days of university, so you'll usually find him tinkering on something related to a language during his free time.

I work as a staff engineer at Appear AS, and I also sporadically create Rust content for YouTube. I typically work with WASM/Web technology, but dabble in low level things like DPDK when I feel particularly geeky.

When I'm not doing Rust stuff, I typically forge knives in my smithy, or play guitar.

Helge has  worked professionally with C++ since the early 1990s, and has also developed SW using other languages like C#, Java and Rust.
He has worked mostly in the embedded space, and has developed SW for autonomous submarines, control systems,  radars, data recorders, airborne systems, and various other things.
He currently works at Thales Norway where he is a SW developer and architect, and also tinkers a little with process and methodology.

Vittorio Romeo (B.Sc. Computer Science, 9+ YoE at Bloomberg) works on mission-critical C++ infrastructure and provides Modern C++ training to hundreds of fellow employees.

He began programming around the age of 8 and became a C++ enthusiast shortly after discovering the language. Vittorio created several open-source C++ libraries and games, published many video courses and tutorials, actively participates in the ISO C++ standardization process, and maintains the popular SFML library.

He co-authored the acclaimed "Embracing Modern C++ Safely" book (published in January 2022) with J. Lakos, R. Khlebnikov, and A. Meredith.

Vittorio is an active member of the C++ community with an ardent desire to share his knowledge and learn from others: he presented and offered workshops over 20 times at international C++ conferences (including CppCon, C++Now, ++it, ACCU, C++ On Sea, C++ Russia, and Meeting C++), covering topics of various nature.

He also maintains a website with advanced C++ articles and a YouTube channel featuring well-received modern C++11/14 tutorials. Lastly, he's active on StackOverflow, taking great care in answering interesting C++ question (90k reputation).

When he's not writing code, Vittorio enjoys weightlifting, playing volleyball, scuba diving, canyoning, gaming, and enjoying sci-fi content.

Ulf is an engineer interested in systems constrained by size, performance or scale. 

When not sitting in front of my computer (which is not very often), he enjoys hiking, playing the guitar or drums, and spending time with his wife and kids.


Sy Brand is an expert in debugger technologies and Microsoft’s C++ Developer Advocate. Sy has over a decade in developer tooling and has worked on profilers, compilers, language runtimes, standard libraries, and, of course, debuggers. They’ve also contributed to the standards for C++, DWARF, and HSA. Brand earned a degree in computer science from the University of St. Andrews, specializing in compiler implementation. They also are a poet, filmmaker, musician, activist, and parent to three cats and one entire human.

Anders started programming in Turbo Pascal in 1995, and has been programming professionally in various languages since 2001. He's currently a senior software engineer at Squarehead, working on acoustic drone detection systems. He's also the author of the book C++ Brain Teasers, http://cppquiz.org, and https://blog.knatten.org

With over 16 years of experience developing software for embedded microphone array technology, Andreas now leads the software development at Squarehead Technology. This involves making strategic decisions about low level product development as well as making great user experiences. Combined with his acoustical understanding through his work, he also makes electronic trance music in his spare time.

Conor Spilsbury is a Senior Software Engineer at Bloomberg, where he works on the Listed Securities’ Execution Management System (EMSX). EMSX is a high-performance, high-throughput multi-asset trading solution. Conor is also the chair of Bloomberg's C++ Guild. He holds a master’s degree in mathematics from the University of Exeter.

James has been working for over 20 years in software and hardware development. He has worked with test automation since 2008 and has gradually switched from a successful developer and architect role over to an experienced test automation specialist role. James focuses on how automatic end-to-end testing can bring together all the participants in an agile team and deliver value early in the requirements gathering and active development stages, long before the software is close to being finished. When not giving Neat’s video-conference solutions strange dreams, James enjoys the Norwegian outdoors, especially when skiing and flyfishing.

He has been programming since childhood, professionally for over two decades, and he still loves it enough to keep doing it in his free time. Especially thrives on challenging problems and in constrained environments.

A network engineer with substantial clue in software and hardware engineering. Dealing with low latency and high throughput network systems. Able to maintain discussion on topics of BGP, Verilog, and C, had seen X.25, Cisco CGS, and X.25 on Cisco CGS in real life.

Victor Ciura is a Principal Engineer on the Rust team in Microsoft DevDiv, building the compiler toolchain and libraries needed for the broader 🦀Oxidizer effort across the organization and Rust open-source community.

Kate Gregory is an enthusiastic C++ programmer and teacher, and has been paid to program since 1979. She believes that software should make our lives easier. That includes making the lives of developers easier! She'll stay up late arguing about deterministic destruction or how modern C++ is not the C++ you remember. She is one of the three leads of the Carbon Language project, a founder of #include <C++>, and on the board of C++ Toronto, which runs CppNorth. Kate also develops courses for Pluralsight, primarily on C++.

Kate runs a small consulting firm in rural Ontario that provides mentoring and management consultant services, and tries to write code every week. She has spoken all over the world, written over a dozen books, and helped thousands of developers to be better at what they do.
