Embedded Rust in Production
Often when new languages like Rust get introduced, it starts with a hobby project and simple proof of concepts. But what does it take to go beyond that and use it in production?
Akiles is a manufacturer of access control devices and have been using Rust to program our embedded devices for over 4 years. Embedded Rust projects like Embassy started at Akiles, and have since flourished and grown into a widely used open source project.
This talk will give an introduction to the Embedded Rust ecosystem, async Rust, and share our experience using Rust in production at Akiles.
