Learning Graphics Programming with C++
In 2025 I decided to get seriously into graphics programming. A year later I have learnt quite a few lessons that should be quite enlightening not only for people following a similar path, but more broadly to anyone trying to get into a different domain, branch or industry.
You may know C++, but how do you get started in the specifics of a given domain with its own established codes and patterns? Where do you learn best practices? How do you deal with the prevalence of C-style thinking? Can modern C++ feature help? How quickly does the word "modern" loses its meaning in tech literature?
We will answer all those questions, and more! And since we're talking about graphics, we might even see some cool shader magic if time allows.
