Aaron Ballman is the lead maintainer of the Clang open source compiler, and a veteran member of both the C++ standards committee (WG21) and the C standards committee (WG14). His primary interest in compilers and programming languages is in finding ways to inform programmers about potential mistakes in their code through compiler diagnostics, static analysis, and dynamic analysis. He's been programming in C and C++ for over 20 years, hasauthored multiple books on programming languages, and currently lives in rural Maine with his wife, three dogs, three cats, two horses, and numerous chickens.
