Kyle has been doing vulnerability research as a hobby for about 17 years and has been working professionally in that area for 9 of those years. He still gets excited whenever he manages to pop a remote shell.
For work he performs in-depth security evaluations of Cisco products written in a plethora of languages, but his focus is on C/C++ and native binary targets. He has worked to bring a culture of automation where possible to his work in the form of fuzzing and tool scripting.
Outside of work he enjoys working with the greater security community to discuss interesting new targets, improve open-source tools, and discover new techniques.
